WMS competes at the Louder Than a Bomb Great Plains Poetry Slam

The WMS poets competed at the Louder Than a Bomb Great Plains Poetry Slam on Sunday, March 25. This is a high school competition. WMS was one of two middle schools competing.
In their first bout, they finished third out of four, missing second place by seven tenths of a point. Their final score of 143 was the fourth highest team score in the competition, and their group poem scored was 29.9 out of 30–the highest score of any poem in the bout.
